3-Ton Grip Truck Rental in Florida - Tampa, Orlando & Central FL
A fully loaded 3-ton grip truck with a deep inventory of grip, rigging, electrical, and tungsten lighting - ready to roll to your set anywhere in Florida. Includes an onboard production office.
Our 3-ton grip truck is packed with professional gear for rigging, lighting control, and camera support, ready to meet the demands of any set.

A 3-ton grip truck is the standard working unit for mid-to-large film, TV, and commercial productions. It consolidates your entire grip and lighting package into a single, organized vehicle - eliminating the need to coordinate multiple rental pickups or show up to set piecing together your package from different sources. Everything is loaded, inventoried, and ready.
CineVerse's 3-ton is stocked with a production-grade inventory that covers stands, rigging hardware, frames and flags in sizes from 2x3 to 12x12, full electrical, Mole Richardson tungsten fixtures from 350W to 2kW, HMI, gels, diffusion, dollies, camo, and utility gear. It also includes an onboard production office, giving your coordinator or AD a dedicated workspace directly on set. Daily and weekly rates available. We deliver and pick up across Florida, with primary service in Tampa, Orlando, and Central Florida.

What's Loaded on the Truck
The truck ships with quantities built for a proper set - not a skeleton kit. That means 12 C-Stands, 6 Hollywood Combos, 4 Hi Hi Rollers, a full selection of frames from 2x3 through 12x12, 20+ sandbags, 40 magnets, 24 Swivel Cheese Boroughs, 15 Safety Cables, full gel stock including CTOs, CTBs, and NDs, plus Mole Richardson Fresnels from 350W to 2kW and a 1200 HMI. You're not renting a partial kit - you're getting a complete, working G&E package in one pull.
Productions That Typically Book the 3-Ton
The 3-ton is the right call when your production needs a complete grip and lighting solution without the logistics of pulling from multiple vendors. It's a common booking for:
Narrative Features and TV Episodes — Sets that need full flag coverage in multiple sizes, rigging depth, and tungsten fixtures alongside a DP's preferred LED package.
Commercial Productions — Fast-moving commercial sets where the gaffer needs everything in one organized, accessible vehicle to stay on schedule.
Music Videos — Especially larger treatments that shoot across multiple locations in a single day and can't afford downtime waiting on gear.
Branded Content and Documentaries — Productions that need professional lighting and grip without the overhead of a larger truck package.
If your project is smaller and you don't need the full truck, we also offer standalone grip and lighting rentals by the piece or package.
Onboard Production Office
The CineVerse 3-ton includes a dedicated onboard production office — a workspace built into the truck for your coordinator, AD, or producer to operate directly from set. No hunting for a table on location. No running back to base camp. Your production admin stays close to the action, with room to work.
This is a feature usually found on larger truck packages. Having it on a 3-ton makes the CineVerse truck a practical choice for productions that need organizational capacity without stepping up to a 5-ton.
3-Ton Grip Truck Rental — Serving Florida Productionsoduction Office
CineVerse delivers the 3-ton grip truck to productions across Florida. Primary service areas include:
Tampa, FL — Film and commercial sets across Tampa Bay, St. Petersburg, Clearwater, and Hillsborough County.
Orlando, FL — Productions in Greater Orlando, Orange County, Lake Buena Vista, and Kissimmee.
Central Florida — Lakeland, Polk County, and the corridor connecting Tampa and Orlando.
Statewide — For larger productions outside these areas, contact us to discuss delivery options and logistics. We've worked across Florida and are used to accommodating location-specific needs.

Frequently Asked Questions — 3-Ton Grip Truck
Q: Does the truck come with a driver or operator?
A: Contact us to discuss crew availability. We can advise based on your production dates and location.
Q: Can I add gear to the truck beyond what's listed in the manifest?
A: Yes. We can supplement the truck with additional pieces from our standalone grip and lighting inventory. Let us know what you need when requesting a quote.
Q: Does the truck include LED lighting fixtures?
A: The truck manifest includes Mole Richardson tungsten fixtures and a 1200 HMI. For LED fixtures such as Aputure or Amaran units, those can be added from our separate lighting inventory. Contact us and we'll build out a combined package.
Q: What is the onboard office used for?
A: It's a dedicated workspace on the truck for a coordinator, AD, or producer to work from during the shoot. Useful for productions that need admin capacity close to set without setting up a separate basecamp station.
Q: Do you offer weekly rates on the truck?
A: Yes. Weekly rates are available and offer better value for multi-day productions. Include your shoot schedule in the quote request and we'll apply the right rate.
Q: How far in advance should I book?
A: As early as possible for peak shooting seasons. For standard bookings, a few days' notice is usually workable — but we recommend reaching out as soon as your dates are confirmed to guarantee availability.
